Channels are defined using ZZZ.NNN, where Z stands for the zone and N for the channel number.
Example: 1.2 → Zone 1, Channel 2 (entered without a leading zero).
DMR devices always require a target for communication. This can either be an individual subscriber or a group:
Individual subscribers are defined by a number or with U.
Example: 123 or U123 → subscriber with call number 123
Groups are defined with G.
Example: G4 → Group 4
PTT always transmits to the selected phonebook entry (subscriber or group). LARDIS can be configured so that it automatically switches to the corresponding subscriber upon incoming calls.
